Detoxing Heavy Metals From The Body
Through the years many people with high levels of Mercury, Lead, Cadmium and Arsenic in their bodies have asked, “What Is The Best Heavy Metal Detox Product?” There are many to choose from and some of them include, EDTA, Chlorella, Bentonite Clay, Cilantro, and Burdock Root. All of these detox products are used for oral chelation except for EDTA which can also be applied by IV or rectally with suppositories. These particular detox products do work to remove heavy metals, however they all have drawbacks which include taking a long time to flush out heavy metals in the body and when they release the heavy metals from your body a good portion of the heavy metals will re-absorb back into the body causing the person to sometimes feel sick, often with flu like symptoms that is called a Herxheimer Reaction. Zeolite is the best product to remove heavy metals from the body.
Here’s Why
Of all of the heavy metal detox products available to remove heavy metals from the body the natural mineral zeolite is the best choice! There are many types of zeolites, however the type of zeolite used for removing heavy metals from the body is called Clinoptilolite, The advantages this zeolite holds over the other oral chelation products are many. First of all zeolite removes heavy metals mechanically not chemically as the other products do. Heavy metals are attracted to the cage like structure and like a magnet they are pulled from the blood and into the zeolite where they are trapped and held onto all the way out of the body! This is a great advantage because people taking zeolite will not suffer from any heavy metals leaking back into the body to produce a Herxheimer Reaction, which would make them feel sick. Other advantages zeolite has over the other detox products include the added ability to balance the pH for a less acidic body and better overall health and because zeolite only targets heavy metals and it will not remove any good minerals or nutrients from the body or react to other nutrients or medications as other chelation products will and do! Clinoptilolite Zeolite is micronized into a very fine tasteless powder that can penetrate the blood brain barrier for a complete body detox and it mixes easily with juice or water to ingest and it can also be taken in a capsule form if preferred.
What is Zeolite?
Zeolites are porous structures made of natural volcanic minerals. A Chemical reaction between volcanic ash and sea salts creates Zeolites.
The Zeolites are encased in the hardened lava for millions of years. .
Zeolites are one of the few negatively-charged minerals found in nature, with very large vacant spaces or cages between the molecules. The negative charge combined with this structure allows for large, positively charged ions to be pulled into the Zeolite cage and trapped.
Adverse Reactions to taking Zeolite
The only side effect of zeolite is dehydration. For that reason, it is essential to be well hydrated when taking all zeolites. Drink at least ½ ounce of pure water for every pound you weigh (typically eight or 10 glasses of water a day). Drinks such as coffee, tea, and soda do not count.* Some users experience detoxification symptoms, such as headache, diarrhea, tiredness, or achiness – which are usually mild – when they begin taking all zeolite. After initial detoxification, most people report feeling better than ever.
Particle size and the problem of grittiness
Zeolite is meshed down to consistent 0.5-10 micron particle size mesh. This is done through a complex micronization consistency instead of a powder like consistency as with other zeolites. The reason that we can get this mesh consistency is because of our higher quality clinoptilolite zeolite ore (compared to other zeolites).
Most Zeolites on the market have particle size of 40-100 microns. This is still large enough that when you mix a tea spoon of this mesh in 355 ml of water, within the first 30 seconds almost half of the zeolite will settle to the bottom of the glass and will not be consumed.
This zeolite is micronized down to 20 microns or less; and as a result has a large volume to weight ratio which means that a tablespoon of Zeolite averages 3.5 grams vs. 5 grams when compared to other products. It is simply a lighter product, which means more cage space and surface area per gram of product.
This is the essence of capturing power, making Zeolite a truly superior product when compared to others.
Zeolite is not approved as a drug, and so no claim can be made that it cures, treats, or prevents cancer or any other disease. It would be illegal to do so as well as irresponsible on the basis of the small studies that have been done to date.
What does Zeolite taste like?
It’s tasteless. When mixed in food or water, one cannot detect it by taste.
What is the chemical composition of clinoptilolite zeolite?
Clinoptilolite’s exact chemical formula is: (Na,K,Ca)2-3Al3(Al,Si)2Si13O36·12(H2O). That translates into Hydrated Sodium Potassium Calcium Aluminum Silicate, also called Potassium-calcium-sodium-aluminosilicate for short.
What does it mean that zeolite balances the body’s pH level?
Zeolite in water is a negatively charged molecule with a cage-like structure that is able to trap positively charged hydronium ions. These ions lower the pH or make it more acidic. By eliminating them, all natural Zeolites help balance the pH to a more neutral, alkaline level.*
Is the pale green color of Zeolite significant?
Red, black, brown, green or white… all clinoptilolite zeolites are useful and safe for detoxifying the body. However, a good general statement would be that a colored zeolites will probably work better (have a higher CEC rating or toxin capturing power) than a totally pure, translucent zeolite. A completely pure zeolite would be translucent like glass and would have less toxin capturing power than a colored zeolite. The majority of natural zeolites are pale green, gray or pink/brown in color. The color of zeolite is imparted by the particular minerals that are part of the zeolite deposit, iron, copper, titanium, etc. and is not significant (except to those who write marketing copy — who may say their zeolite’s color is the best one). Zeolite color is the result of how light is reflected when it strikes the zeolite. This color is the result of the particular combination of minerals and silica making up the zeolite.
Interestingly, zeolite gets its power from the structure of silica and minerals within the zeolite rock. Those minerals are essential to what make zeolite work. The various combinations of minerals can create red, blue, green, brown, black colored zeolites. But, instead of trying to evaluate the product by color (outward appearance) which is not very scientific, we simply say to check the CEC rating.
Zeolite contains aluminum ions. Could this potentially be harmful?
No. The aluminum is very strongly bonded into the cage-like structure of the zeolite, and so is completely unavailable biologically. It would take temperatures of 900°F (480°C) to break the aluminum free from the zeolite crystal. There is no chance that zeolite can introduce any aluminum into the body. In fact, tests prove not only that all the aluminum in zeolite stays in the zeolite, but also that zeolite causes additional aluminum to be excreted through the urine. That means that zeolite efficiently removes aluminum from the body.*
There are many different zeolites. Which one is used in zeolite supplements?
Clinoptilolite is the zeolite used in our zeolite.
Does zeolite need refrigeration after the Pouch is opened?
No. But it is recommended to keep it in a cool and dry environment.
Refrigeration is recommended but not necessary.
Should zeolite be taken with food or on an empty stomach?
It appears to work just as efficiently either way. However, it is best taken in an 8 or 12 -ounce glass of water to help insure adequate hydration throughout the day.
Can zeolite be used in teas or coffee?
Yes, it takes a temperature of about 900 F to change its molecular structure.*
Is Zeolite Safe?
Zeolite has been studied extensively by scientists in countries around the world. Natural zeolites are inert, non-toxic minerals which are federally classified as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe).
The superior grade of zeolite (clinoptolite) we use in our products does not contain any fibrous positive charged particles and is free from all contaminants including mold, yeast and/or radioactive elements.
